Culture Shock San Diego is more than a dance organization: we are a community, a movement, and a living legacy. Rooted in Hip-Hop culture, creativity, and the vibrant stories (and legacies) of Black and queer artists, we’ve served as a second home to dancers of all backgrounds for over 30 years. Our studio is a place where creativity thrives, self-worth is nurtured, and lifelong connections are made.

Under the leadership of Executive Director Sebastian Martinez, we’re stepping into a bold new era honoring the foundation laid by our founder Angie Bunch while meeting this moment with courage and creativity.
